KFC CHICKEN

 INGREDIENTS

  •  1 whole chicken, despressed
  •  1 liter oil
  •  1 liter liter Milk
  •  2 eggs
  •  1 teaspoon curry
  •  1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  •  2 teaspoon sweet paprika
  •  1 teaspoon hot paprika
  •  1 teaspoon garlic cream
  •  1 teaspoon onion powder
  •  1/2 teaspoon tarragon
  •  1 teaspoon pepper (to taste)
  •  1 teaspoon thyme
  •  1/2 teaspoon dill
  •  1 teaspoon salt to taste
  •  200 ml Beer

 For the crispy breading:

  •  200 grams of flour.  You can also use a mixture of wheat flour and corn starch in equal proportions.
  •  1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  •  1/2 teaspoon hot paprika
  •  1/2 teaspoon curry
  •  1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  •  1/2 teaspoon dill
  •  1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  •  1/2 teaspoon thyme
  •  1/2 teaspoon Salt

 METHOD

 KFC Buttermilk

 1. We begin by spreading the mustard and garlic cream on each piece of chicken.  Then we add the other ingredients to marinate (beer, salt, thyme, pepper etc).  It is important that you leave the chicken for even 20 minutes in this mixture.  We begin by spreading the mustard and garlic cream on each piece of chicken.

 KFC Chicken Batter

 1. We take two bowls, in one we put the milk and the eggs, we beat and then we impregnate the chicken.  In the second bowl we add all the other ingredients that we indicated for coating (flour, hot paprika, pepper, salt, etc).

 2. It is important at this stage to avoid excesses both in the mix made with the egg and whey, and in the tempura mix that we are going to use.

 How to cook Kentucky chicken

 1. To finish, we are going to heat the oil around in a fryer or a cauldron.  Set the heat to "medium."  Let warm for 6 minutes.  When it reaches the boiling point, lower the heat to low.  Fry until chicken is golden, (approximately 8 minutes).

 2. Transfer chicken pieces to a tray lined with absorbent paper towels.

 3. If you need to fry a lot of chicken pieces, you need to remember that the oil should be brought back to temperature before adding more chicken.  Repeat with the rest of the chicken.
